JUNE 28th with Kat Kirwan
Kat has written a children’s book series called Charlie the Chicken Mushroom, she is a chef, and has a retreat center in Mercer. Kat will be talking about the intersection of agriculture, food, and writing.
JULY 12TH with Jared Peatman
The renowned 20th Maine earned its reputation in one of the country’s most celebrated clashes of arms: the defense of Little Round Top at the Battle of Gettysburg, under the command of the legendary Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain.Henry Moore, a member of the 20th Maine and from Canaan has one of the very best stories and will be the main focus of Jared’s talk.
